What is it with the British Army and their wheeled armoured vehicles?
They are spending a fortune on crap, rather than buying proven existing systems.
The development has taken them from a wire frame on wheels (Jackal) to the box behemoth (Mastiff/Ridgeback)........ What happend, did the designers run out of ideas?
One design you are dodging bullets and the other is a very large lego block on wheels!!
Has anyone got thoughts on this matter?

Hiya...
I think the days of the tracked IFV has passed. The Boxer, Puma, Striker, all wheeled jobs but yes, the British army does seem to be making some, erm, 'intersting' choices... Quite honestly, I cant see the coyote, jackal and lego block fighting in a conventional war, they offer virtually no protection to the crew.
