| The first kits that i had built in ages, was a so-so attempt at the 1/9 Ducati "Foggy" Monster. https://2img.net/h/i784.photobucket.com/albums/yy122/gavin_snowdon/YZR/complete1_zps68e74d2c.jpg~originalMy next kit was supplied by Mad Steve, namely the Tamiya 1/12 YZR, this was a great step up and quite a challenge. https://2img.net/h/i784.photobucket.com/albums/yy122/gavin_snowdon/YZR/complete2_zps879465c8.jpg~originalNow that the modelling bug had truly bitten again, this was followed by the Tamiya 1/12 Ducati 900SS, with a couple of after market bits. PE mesh cover for carbs, PE disc brakes, PE hose clamps and rivets. Had a ball building this - there was a steep leaning curve on processes and techniques, which resulted in a decent attempt. Flawed, but I was happy with the end result. https://2img.net/h/i784.photobucket.com/albums/yy122/gavin_snowdon/900SS%20kit%20pics/3-4front_zps6b6b1b26.jpg~originalThe Tamiya 1/12 Honda NSR500, a decent kit but this had the terrible decals, so in the end it's a bit of a bodge and a compromise and it probably shows. https://2img.net/h/i784.photobucket.com/albums/yy122/gavin_snowdon/900SS%20kit%20pics/NSR%20500%20-%20Mick%20Doohan/PICT0016_zpsb9ef0281.jpg~originalMy latest project is the Tamiya 1/12 Ducati NCR. I hoping to up my game on this, though I have found this quite costly and time consuming with regards to researching, ordering bits, modifying, making mistakes and repairing. All I have at the moment is the pic below. https://2img.net/h/i784.photobucket.com/albums/yy122/gavin_snowdon/NCR%20kit%20pics/PEbatterytraybattery_zps84cb09fd.jpg~originalFinally, I thought that I'd add this for some old "'n boer maak 'n plan". It's my home made spray booth. I have cobbled it together with bunch of bits and scrap laying around - like an old bathroom extractor fan, boards of an old cupboard, a flower pot holder, wire mesh, old PC stand, couple nuts, bolts, screws, silicon and an under counter LED light fitting. What do you think? https://2img.net/h/i784.photobucket.com/albums/yy122/gavin_snowdon/Spray%20Booth/PICT0040_zps15432ef6.jpg~originalI'm no where near the rest of you guys in terms of skill and finish, but I sure as hell do get a kick out this hobby and I'm happy to share it with you and to be open to any critique in the future.
