PostSubject: Hello from a wet and cold UK   Hello from a wet and cold UK Icon_minitimeSun Jan 05, 2014 1:22 am

Hi All, my name is Dave. I hope you had a good Christmas and New Year!

I'm familiar with a couple of members through Britmodeller (Madsteve and Colin Burgess) and FB (Colin again), I spotted the link to this site through one of Steve's postings over on BM.
A couple of threads regarding Baxmod caught my interest, I have a fair few of their 1/35 kits in my stash. I'm currently working on the G6 kit and I also have an Olifant begging to be finished! I'll try to sort out a few pictures.

Dave.

Welcome fellow Brit,

Its wet and wild here, unlike our cousins in 'ol SA where its typically warm at this time of the year.

So you're building a G6, nogal? Will love to see the finnished kit! cyclops

Till later bub.

The stalled Olifant:

....and here's something completely different. This was taken whilst we were quickly crossing Westminster Bridge before the Romanian scam artists homed in on us Smile

Wow, that G6 is an awesome kit!!

That turret is big enough for 6 blokes to stand up in it!

I guess that is going on my wish list!!

Can't wait to see you do the works on it!

Cheers Phil.

I think the Olifant will be back on the bench once the G6 is out of the way.
